We are hiring for the following positions for the upcoming tax season
Work will be completed in our office in Laurel, MD. These are not remote/work from home positions
Administrative & Accounting Assistant – Part-time/Seasonal
- Primary duties will include updating workflow software, preparing folders and organizers for client appointments, preparing engagement letters, assembling tax returns
- Assist with administrative needs including greeting clients, answering phones, maintaining a clean and presentable office
- Assist with data entry for tax returns
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of administrative or accounting or tax prep experience helpful

Tax Preparer – Part-time/Seasonal
- Prepare complete and accurate individual tax returns in a well-organized and timely manner
- Update workflow management software
- Research tax issues and ensure all applicable federal, state and local tax laws are being followed. Ensure that all policies and procedures for tax compliance have been met
- Follow all internal guidelines, procedures and directions
- Minimum 1 years of recent experience as a tax preparer
- High school diploma or equivalent
